These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of www.shastralokam.com and the services provided by SHASTRA LOKAM, a sole proprietorship owned and operated by Abhi Krishnan Rajendra Prasad, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India ("we", "us", "our"). By engaging our services or using this website, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services

We provide digital services including website design and development, web applications, business automation, software support, and billing & booking solutions. All services are custom, delivered electronically; no physical goods are shipped.

2. Quotations & Engagement

• Work begins after you accept a written quotation or proposal (email is sufficient) describing scope, price, and timeline.
• Anything outside the accepted scope is a change request and may be quoted separately.
• Timelines depend on timely inputs (content, approvals, access) from your side.

3. Payments

• Projects are typically billed as an advance (usually 30–50%) with the balance on agreed milestones or on delivery; support work may be billed monthly or per task.
• Payments can be made through our secure payment gateway (such as Cashfree), UPI, or bank transfer, against a valid invoice.
• Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless stated otherwise. Applicable taxes, if any, are additional as per law.
• Third-party costs (domain names, hosting, software licences, SMS/email credits) are billed at actuals and payable in advance.

4. Service Delivery

Deliverables are provided electronically — as deployed websites/applications, source files, or documents — to the email or accounts you designate. Delivery timelines are stated in the accepted quotation; typical projects range from 1 to 8 weeks depending on scope. Any delay from pending client inputs extends timelines correspondingly.

5. Client Responsibilities

• Provide accurate information and lawful content for the work.
• Ensure you have rights to all text, images, logos, and data you supply.
• Keep credentials we hand over (hosting, domains, admin logins) safe after delivery.

6. Intellectual Property

• Upon receipt of full payment, ownership of the bespoke deliverables created for you transfers to you.
• We retain rights to our pre-existing tools, frameworks, and know-how used in the work, licensed to you as needed to use the deliverables.
• We may reference completed, non-confidential work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to in writing.

7. Support & Warranty

We correct defects in delivered work reported within 30 days of delivery at no charge. Ongoing maintenance, enhancements, and support beyond this are available under a separate support arrangement.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from a service is limited to the amount you paid us for that service. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for failures of third-party services (hosting, domains, payment gateways, APIs) beyond our control.

9. Termination

Either party may end an engagement with written notice. You remain responsible for payment for work completed up to termination; refunds, where applicable, follow our Refund Policy.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
